We are looking for a DevOps Team Leader, who has a passion for taking up innovative technologies, processes, and tools to make constant improvements.Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise in SRE and Platform Engineering.
- Design and implement best practices for building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure for our software platform.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Development, Operations, and QA, to ensure smooth integration of new features and services.
- Drive the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD Gitlab pipelines, deployment automation, and monitoring tools.
- Establish and enforce policies and procedures for incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis, ensuring high availability and system reliability.
- Continuously improve the platform's performance, scalability, and security through proactive monitoring, optimization, and capacity planning.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in SRE and Platform Engineering, and leverage that knowledge to drive innovation within the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A relevant Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Principal SW Engineer, Technical Lead, Team Lead or Manager, leading a team of DevOps engineers.
- Strong background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Platform Engineering, with hands-on experience in building and managing large-scale, distributed systems built with Spring Boot and Kafka Stream.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands-on, solid understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD methodologies, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.
- Strong scripting and automation skills, with proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Ruby, Go).
- Highly experienced in monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) and incident management systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
