Innoviz Quality team ensures all aspects related to the quality & reliability of LIDAR sensor for the autonomous automotive world. Our challenge is to embed quality culture while meeting the most demanding automotive quality and reliability standards.
We are looking for a talented Operations Quality Engineer, to be responsible to create, maintain and monitor quality culture and processes that supports the effective achievement of high-quality production of Innoviz’s products.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain product quality, manufacturing oriented, processes

Implement quality control gates in production, from early samples to mass production- Manufacturing control plan including subcontractor performance
- Embed automotive quality standards into the manufacturing processes to ensure product compliance standards
- Plan and conduct audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes, and products
- Managing suppliers and contract manufacturers to the automotive standards, certifications, and customer specifications
- Monitor and manage Suppliers Quality KPI’s
- Lead supplier process and product audits to IATF 16949 standards / VDA 6.3
- Provide support during product development phase, including technical benchmarking, feasibility assessments, and risk assessment of potential sources of supply
- Manage Automotive PPAP process for new products or products changes
- Carry out supplier advanced product quality planning (APQP)
Requirements:
- 3+ Years of Quality Assurance experience in Engineering & manufacturing/NPI environment of multidisciplinary products (Electronics, Mechanic, SW, Testing, Integration)
- B.Sc. in Engineering or technical degree
- Knowledge and experience of Quality system - ISO 9001/ IATF16949
- Experience working in a regulated industry (automotive, aerospace, medical)
- Good knowledge in Manufacturing technologies: Opto-mechanical, PCBA, integration and assembly
- Experience in leading quality projects.
- Self-motivated, self-maintained and able to take the initiative to solve problems.
- Team player and excellent interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented and hands-on approach
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English & Hebrew
- Experienced in the Automotive industry – BIG Advantage
- VDA 6.3 certified auditor- Advantage
- Solid knowledge in problem solving methodologies and standard quality tools – 8D, MSA, FMEA, SPC, MRB, etc.
- High interpersonal skills, ability to work in teams, motivation, and assertiveness
