As a Data Pre-Sales Engineer you will be the owner of the data processing and analysis process in our sales funnel, partnering with our Sales team to lead Pre-Sales activities providing proof of concept to prospective clientele using data analysis. You will balance multiple tasks simultaneously by leveraging your interpersonal skills and technical acumen to provide an exceptional experience throughout the Pre-Sales process.
Responsibilities:
- Write code to prepare, process, and analyze data to help Sales articulate Aquant’s unique value proposition in data related terms and build supporting material for engagements with C-level executives and senior technical and service leaders at global companies
- Understand prospect’s current service related data flow, how data is being collected and maintained in order to identify data gaps and provide recommendations on customer data qualification
- Perform data review, data transformation, demo environment setup, identify demo scenarios and create analyses to support a business case as part of a proof of concept process during the sales funnel (ie. “7-day challenge”)
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to build customer demos and business case through the analysis of customer data, contributing to accomplishing sales goals
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of Aquant's products and features required to support sales activities
What you bring to the table:
- 2+ years of experience as data analyst or data engineer, or similar role
- BA/B.Sc. in in industrial/information systems engineering, statistics or related fields or equivalent practical experience in data engineering or analytics role
- Hands-on experience with Python (pandas), preferably creating ETL
- Hands-on Excel experience
- Team player, with excellent collaboration skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to relate technical concepts to clients with varying technical backgrounds
- Strong sense of ownership
- Fluent English
- Hands-on SQL experience (preferred)
- Business Intelligence (BI) experience (preferred)
