About Our Bookkeeper - Maternity leave replacement

As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions.This role is the backbone of the company, and is for someone who loves order and has a Zen-like love of a balanced spreadsheet.
The Bookkeeper will be part of an amazing Finance team and should be flexible for ad-hoc tasks combined with the usual Bookkeeper routine.
The Task-at-Hand:
- Work in a multi-currency accounting system
- Payments to vendors and government institutions.
- Post monthly closing entries and prepare supporting docs for audit/ review.
- Banks - responsible for communication with banks, ensure daily banks reconciliations (multi-currency).
- Responsible for related parties reconciliations (being able to communicate with foreign bookkeepers).
- Credit cards - Responsible to post and reconcile accounts.
- Employee's Expense report - Review and approve Expense reports while ensuring compliance with travel policy and Expense policy..
- Fixed Assets - Maintain fixed assets records and post monthly depreciation entry with reconciliation to books.
- Record payroll JE including review and reimbursement of employee's travel and expenses reports.
- Reconciliation of all BS accounts and preparation of WP, including but not limited to: banking, vendors, Fix assets, accruals, prepaid expenses etc.
- Preparation of VAT returns together with the local tax advisors.
- Preparation of material for audits
Optimal Skills for Success:
- Bookkeeping type 3 - advantage
- 2+ years of experience as a Bookkeeper in the global High-Tech company - advantage
- High proficiency in English
- Experience working with ERP System, NetSuite and Oracle - advantage
- Experience working with multiple currencies
- Excellent Microsoft office skills, especially Excel
- Highly organized and reliable with high attention to detail
- Knowledge with reporting to Israeli authorities - advantage
