You will be based in our Tel Aviv office as part of our global finance function. By acting as a thought partner to the leadership, you will provide analytics and insights informing leadership decisions and leverage broad finance knowledge and experience to provide deep analytics insights and process guidance, selectively leading projects within the function.
What You'll Do
You will manage the finance department in the Israel office, including coordination with banks, preparing documentation for external and internal audits and coordinating with local government institutions. You will manage the local budget, prepare data for payroll and work with local pension agents. You will manage client billing, including contracts and compliance and implement finance and accounting policies of the firm.
You will present analyses and reports and functions as a thought partner to office/function leadership and actively influence decisions. You will lead selected projects and initiatives to drive change in processes and operations, such as enhancing financial models to include standard metrics and benchmarks that assist senior leaders in making strategic decisions. You will collaborate with global finance colleagues on simplification of end-to-end workflows/processes and incorporate design thinking and continuous improvement mind-set in the finance workflow and operations. You will ensure compliance with relevant statutory guidelines and laws and support junior colleagues in developing strategies to ensure that financial and/or client service information is accurately generated and effectively communicated.
Qualifications
- CPA (accounting degree), preferably an MBA
- 5+ years of finance and 1+ years of management experience, ideally in a professional services environment
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytic thinking and problem solving skills
- Strong project/process manager; coach/motivate teams and work collaboratively with others
- Effective communicator, routinely influencing the audience
- Fluent Hebrew and English
